Vida Serena

Therapy & Immigration Resources in Utah

Practical guides for individuals, families, and immigration attorneys. Understand your options, prepare useful questions, and find your next step in English or Spanish.

Individuals & families

Make the next step more manageable

You may be looking for emotional support in Spanish, trying to understand an immigration evaluation, or helping a family member. Start with the question closest to your situation. These guides explain what to ask, how to prepare, and where clinical and legal guidance have different roles.

Attorneys & authorized representatives

Refer with a clear clinical purpose

A useful referral identifies who needs the evaluation and which clinical questions will inform the matter. Our guide covers scope by case category, separation and relocation questions, relevant records, deadlines, and report independence.

I-601/I-601A waivers, asylum, VAWA, U visas, T visas, and cancellation of removal raise different referral questions. Inadmissibility-related behavioral requests require individual scope and qualification review. See the service page for boundaries.

For focused clinical questions, see the guides to asylum evaluations and U-visa evaluations.

Help finding your way

Official information and support resources

These external resources complement our guides. Legal directories help you find providers; they do not establish that an organization can take your case. Confirm services, eligibility, and availability directly. Vida Serena provides mental health assessment and care, rather than legal representation.

Appointments in Sandy and virtually throughout Utah

Vida Serena is accepting new clients for therapy and mental health immigration evaluations in English and Spanish, for adults and adolescents age 12 and older. Virtual appointments are for people physically located in Utah during service. Each evaluation requires review of its purpose and clinical suitability.

You may inquire about an evaluation with or without an attorney. If you are looking for ongoing therapy, tell us so we can discuss the appropriate kind of support. Fees, scope, and scheduling are clarified before booking.
